Accessibility statement
This accessibility statement applies to the teatterimukamas.com website.
Teatteri Mukamas is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with national legislation (Act on the Provision of Digital Services / Accessibility Directive) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 standard.
This statement was prepared on 3 August 2026. The statement is based on a self-assessment of the website’s accessibility.
Compliance Status
This website complies with the WCAG 2.1 level AA accessibility requirements partially. The remaining non-accessibilities are detailed below.
Non-accessible Content
We have identified the following accessibility issues on our website and are working to resolve them:
- Images in news previews (Divi theme limitation): The layout structure used on the website (Divi theme Blog module) automatically uses news headlines as alternative text (alt text) for featured images due to technical limitations. We are unable to manually edit these preview texts to be descriptive, which causes headlines to be repeated aloud for screen reader users. (WCAG 1.1.1)
- Videos: Some of the performance trailers embedded on the site only feature automatically generated captions, which may contain errors or lack essential audio description elements. (WCAG 1.2.2)
